Memang hobi yang satu ini menghabiskan banyak materi namun banyak juga menghadirkan kepuasan.. cure for curiosity alias panglipur rasa penasaran. Memang bila di bandingkan dengan teman dan temin seangkatan frekuensi dolan-dolan saya bisa di bilang lumayan lebih. Maka dari itu status keuangan saya pun jarang sekali ada pada posisi plus. Sebenarnya sih uang yang di keluarkan untuk bertamasya keliling eropa tidak seberapa bila dibanding dengan pengalaman liat kanan kiri alias sightseeing atau ndelok kiwo tengen. Untuk mengatasi masalah keuangan saya mulailah saya berbagi ilmu dalam memainkan gitar alias ngelesi gitar, namun semua itu tak cukup mengganti, mulailah saya menjual investasi studio pribadi saya... 3 gitar telah raib terjual, 1 drum machine pun ikut pergi, di ikuti dengan BOSS ME50 yang telah menemaniku selama 1 tahun lebih. Harta terpendam ku tinggal 3 buah gitar listrik, 1 buah gitar akustik, 1 buah ampli gitar, 1 buah synth, 1 buah saxophone. Bila saya amati dari gejolak perekonomian di enschede, apa daya ku.. 2 buah gitar listrik saya akan ikut raib dalam waktu dekat, di ikuti oleh saxophone kesayangan saya. Ku harap dengan modal barang-barang di atas keinginan untuk menapakan kakiku di spanyol, portugal, dan praha akan tercapai.
Nah, biasanya orang yang sering dolan memiliki foto-foto yang banyaknya mungkin setengah dari hard disk mereka. Lain halnya dengan saya yang hanya memiliki 2GB dari 40GB hard disk di laptop saya. Maka dari itu berbahagialah saya bila saya dolan dengan seorang fotografer (bung yosep sugiarto) yang senantiasa mengambil foto-foto tak terduga dengan berbagai pose yang tak pernah terlintas dalam benak ku. Keberadaan bung yosep ini mengisi sebagian besar foto-foto dolan-dolan dalam negeri saya. Namun bung yosep pun harus pulang ke tanah air. Mau ndak mau saya harus mencari pengganti bung yosep dalam menemaniku dolan-dolan.. hehehe.
Cukup sekian ngobrol-ngobrol tentang dolan-dolannya, saya tahu memang posting saya yang kali ini tak ada maksud dan intinya, hanya sekedar sebagai pengisi waktu nganggur saya.. Bila bahasa indonesia terlihat atau terdengar garing bagi mata ataupun telinga anda.. ya memang itulah maksud saya menulis posting ini.

More Update
Long vacation has come to its end. 1st quarter of new school year already started yesterday. Got a new project that has nothing to do with my specialisation.. but very interesting for me. Its about stage live recording, something for the media engineering guys.. but who care.. its good topic and I will do it.
Chatted with Vina, and got alot of nice music from her. Depapepe, a group of 2 japanese playing accoustic guitar creating a nice tune, relaxing, but still having some character behind its melody.
Learning 1 song from them, called 'start'.. still in progress, some melody in the middle of the song are quite difficult. Hope I can do it by the end of this week.

Update of this blog
Finally I have some time to update my blog. This summer, went back to Indonesia. Had a family reunion in bandungan, 80 people were there. Some of them I don't know, some I do know. Cousins have grown up, new nephews and nieces popping up. One thing for sure that didn't change at all, the habit.. Eating, eating, and eating. 24 hours nonstop of food flood. Gain some kilos while I was there. Now I'm back to my proportional weight. Next to do: gain proportional height, 5 more cm will be good enough.
Also spent some time in Jogja, bringing back some good old memory. Met some friends, some of them got married while I don't even have a girlfriend. Time sure flows very fast, still remember how I flirted with high school girls then changed my cell phone number when it got too serious. They said, time change people, move forward or get lost in the stream of time. Train of thought flowing through my brain, still admiring how "brave" they are, making a commitment to live with their one wife for their entire life. Still along way to go for me. First thing first: get serious in relation.
21st of July, arrived at schipol. Tjeerd drove me back to Enschede. Thanks dude, save 12 euro for that. Called some friends, got an offer to join paris tour for 3 days. 3rd of august, went to Paris with some friends. Had some fun in Disneyland, a feeling start clicking. 5th of august, went back to Enschede, it clicks even more. Now, even start to clap.
Monday school will start, some project will be there waiting for me. Met some teachers today, saying that I'm back in Enschede for this study year. Slept early, woke up at 2 a.m because of people watched some movies, joined them, and cant sleep until now. Nothing to do, I updated this blog. End of story, hope you enjoy the update.

Jogja memoir
Sabtu 17 juni 2006, PPIEMC di undang untuk main di kedutaan Indonesia di kerajaan belanda buat acara memoir untuk jogja. Main terakhir kalinya drummer paling berbakat bung Yosep Sugiarto yang telah menggebrak dunia permusikan enschede dengan permainannya yang halus bagaikan sutra tapi bisa juga kasar dan keras seperti wajah bassist PPIEMC... hahaha (guyon van.. guyon). Sebagai lagu pertama langsung den haag di gebrak dengan alunan merdu lagu Jogjakarta yang telah menjadi andalan PPIEMC dalam 3 tahun terakhir ini. Tentunya dengan saya sebagai vokalis tak tergantikan dalam melantunkan irama merdu lagu Jogja.. HAHAHAHA (jangan takabur, Tuhan yang menentukan.. yosep, 2006). Di ikuti oleh kupu-kupu malam, rame-rame, kopi dangdut, permaisuriku, dan beberapa lagu lainnya (lupa apa aja, banyak banget soalnya). Penonton kali ini benar2 antusias dengan penampilan PPIEMC, semua berdiri, bertepuk tangan, dan joget ala inul daratista. Pokoknya puas deh. Ini ada beberapa foto hasil jepretan fotografer den haag.

Nge blog lagi!!
Karena permintaan dari para pemirsa setia blog ini pada protes semua, "kok ndak pernah update", akhirnya ku update lah blog yang telah lama terbengkalai, tak terurus ini.
Benernya gak tahu sih mau nulis apa, wong akhir-akhir ini kerjaanku cuman nonton drama jepang. Yang ada di otak ya cuman ilusi fatamorgana cewe-cewe jepang yang kawaaiii... hahaha. Jadi ya marilah kita selusuri kecantikan 1 dari sekian banyak artis yang ku tonton selama ini.
Namanya Ryoko Hirosue, kelahiran 1980, dengan tampang innocent, rambut pendek yang lurus, dan gigi yang agak gingsul dikit, suara yang serak-serak basah namun belum becek.. pokoknya super cute deh.. hahaha. Wajah doi yang 1 ini bener-bener membuat hatiku jadi berbunga-bunga. Apalagi kalo pas senyum... walah.. langsung klepek-klepek. Yang bikin kepikiran kok ada makhluk kaya gitu di dunia ini... trus kok adanya di jepang, kok ndak di Enschede sih.. hahaha. Enschede kota para jejaka-jejaka ganteng yang sayang gantengnya tak bisa digunakan berhubung ndak ada sarana yang memadai (kota kuda jingkrak khusus cowo). OK deh, segitu dulu masalah cewe cakepnya.. kapan-kapan lanjut lagi.
Kembali ke dunia nyata... 1 minggu lagi ku akan terbang ke langit yang tinggi melintasi samudera menuju indonesia rumahku tercinta. Tiga tahun sudah ku tak pulang ke indonesia, udah kangen yang pecel lele, rujak buah, lotek, bakso, mpek-mpek, pokoknya semua yang enak deh. Kangen jalan-jalan naik motor keliling kota jogja, berpetualang naik motor dari jogja ke madiun, ngecengin cewe di mal, naik becak keliling malioboro, ngamen di jalan raya, jaga warnet dari jam 12 malem sampe subuh, ke online gaming sampe subuh, ke kantin kampus beli ayam goreng + es teh cuman 1500 rupiah, ke mbok gudeg jam 3 pagi buat menikmati late night snack, wes pokoke kangen yang ndak-ndak deh. Tak sabar rasanya ku ingin pulang menjejakan kakiku di indonesia.
Ok deh, sampe jumpa di episode berikutnya.

Arnhem-Nijmegen PPIEMC tour
Satu tahun yang lalu pas pada tanggal 14 mei 2005, PPIEMC di udang untuk meramaikan acara cultural day di Nijmegen. Mengikuti sukses tahun lalu, tahun ini juga pada tanggal yang sama kita kembali manggung di Nijmegen. Berikut ini hasil jeprat jepret paparazi joe.. Van Halen
Edward Van Halen is one of guitar players that influence my guitar playing style. The first song that I learnt to play in my electric guitar is Ain't Talkin bout Love. Classic hit from their first album. I always want one of Eddie signature guitar... But it just so crazily expensive (around 3000$). Two days ago I was browsing the net, and I found mean street guitar, a luthier from USA that build custom guitar out of Eddie signature series.. I browsed their web, check hows the guitar.. All I can say is WOW.. He really does a great job. The painting is flawless, really look real.. Each detail is there. The most amazing thing is the PRICE!!! Custom made guitar for 600 euro, made in USA, with seymour duncan element. What a deal!!! I'll buy one of those guitar soon (still thinking which one to get, the charvel model or kramer).
One more thing about Van Halen... We all know that Van Halen is a dutch name. Yes Eddie was born in Nijmegen. BUT.. maybe some people dont know... He has INDONESIAN mother!!! hahaha. Maybe thats where the rhythm came from.

The Beauty and The Nerd
The Beauty and The Nerd is a TV show that is showing recently in RTL5, its about beautiful women that are amazingly ehhmm ehhmm stupid, guys that are totaly nerd. And they have to make a couple and teach each other things. The beauty will learn about science, politic, social issues, etc from the nerd. While the nerd will learn about the pop culture, celebrity life, partying, etc from the beauty. Every week 1 couple has to go home, while the other have to continue to win 250.000$ jack pot.
I saw it yesterday for the very 1st time. It is so funny, I cant stop laughing the whole night. They ask to the beauty about the address of white house, whos pic in 10$ bill, whos the last president from the democratic party, and they all got it wrong... I was like, what the heck, how can they dont know that? They are all american. Then I talked to myself.. man those guys are really nerd, I'm not that bad.. maybe if I'm in the show I can answer some pop culture question since I know alot about music..
I was quite excited when it was the nerd turn.. Then they start asking, who was the grammy winner in 2005 for the best R&B? what is the name of celine dion boutique? Name 2 out of 3 members of destiny child?... And I was like.. Man.. I AM that NERD. I cant answer even 1. What the heck.. And some of the nerd even answer it correctly. I'm worst than them.. hahahaha.
I cant wait to see the continuation of the show, how the beauty will get smart and the nerd will be funky, and hip.. hehe.

Iseng2 RUU APP
Akhir-akhir ini semua orang pada rame ngomongin RUU APP. Benernya aku kurang ngikutin trend diskusi yang kaya gini sih.. tapi aku kemaren baca di blog si mer tentang RUU APP dan komen2nya. Rame juga rupanya.. ada yang ngotot nolak ada juga yang ngotot setuju. Aku pribadi kurang bener2 tahu isi komplitnya kaya gimana, cuman denger2 aja dari temen2 (terutama cewe).
Mereka banyak ndak setuju karena kok keliatannya RUU itu "mengekang" perempuan. Ada yang ngomong: "masak jadi seksi ndak boleh? Ya bukan salah gue dong kalo gue terlahir seksi, walo pake pakean komplit juga kalo seksi tetep aja seksi.. " (Lho emang sering pake pakaian ndak komplit ya... (maksudnya apa nih :p ) hehehe. Ya memang bener sih, yang namanya udah seksi di pakein pakean rangkep 3 juga tetep aja seksi. Dan aku sih paling suka cewe seksi lah.. namanya juga cowo, suka dong kalo ada pegangannya... ya ndak?? hehehe.
Jadi ya nurut aku sih ya ndak perlu lah ngatur2 cara orang berpakaian kaya gimana.. Kok keterlalulan banget, sampe mau pake baju aja di atur kaya anak TK.. wong udah ABG (Atas Bawah Gede) ya biarin lah mau pake apa.
Trus yang masalah VCD, DVD, majalah porno, dll. Lha karuan kalo itu di legalkan aja (kalo ini radikal sih), kalo udah legal kan enak ngaturnya. Perasaan sejak dulu gue SMP (mulai kenal yang namanya porno) sampe gue sempat kuliah di jogja yang namanya porno juga tak terbendung dan tak tertangkis, walo udah di razia tetep aja minggu depannya ada lagi, lha wong memang rental VCD laris gara2 nyewain yang kaya ginian.. Nah kalo ini di legalkan (dengan batasan umur, 18++) kan transaksi2nya bisa lebih di monitor. Kalo melanggar aturan kan bisa di kasih sanksi resmi yang berat.
Kalo aku ambil contoh di belanda, memang kata orang di sini negara extreme, porn legal, prostitusi legal, ganja juga legal.. tapi semua itu ada gunanya. Gunanya ya buat batesin hal2 tersebut going underground, alias tak termonitor.. malah jadi lebih bahaya.. Kalo semuanya termonitor, teratur, pasti lebih gampang deh taruh batas2 biar semuanya gak berlebihan.
Nah semuanya itu juga sekedar pilihan.. tergantung pribadi masing2 sih. Kalo memang yang namanya ndak pengen macem2 walaupun semuanya legal ya tetep aja ndak di sentuh. Kalo yang memang pengen di sembunyiin kaya apapun ya tetep aja cari2 sampe puas. Secara psikologis sih memang lebih asik kalo ngelanggar aturan.. (adrenalin rush..), bikin orang deg2an.. Mungkin ini ya yang bikin nyandu.. deg2annya itu.. hehehe.
Udah lah segitu aja.. nanti yang ndak terlalu tahu jadi dituduh jadi sok tahu.. Ini cuman pendapat pribadi loh..

Back to blog
Been a while since I post something in english in my blog. More precise its been a while since I post 'something' in my blog. A lot of things went out of control since february. I became such a lazy procrastinator. Frankly I always am a procrastinator but this is worst than ever. I have no one to blame except myself, those anime and korean drama... hahaha. I did promise myself: "next week, it will be the end of it..", but it didn't work out. Those movies are way too interesting to let it slip out of my mind.
During my bedtime I found my self living in an imaginary world, where all the girls are as pretty as those korean soap movie star.. hahaha. How ironic when I woke up in the morning (normal ppl call it 'late afternoon') I found myself back in reality, in enschede, a city with almost no girls.. :p.
I've been thinking should I find some jobs in korea?!?! But I found out that all beautiful korean girl are movie star. The left over are in some way not really interesting for me :p. hehehe.
Anyway lets stop the dreaming part. Back to face the reality. Finish my school, find a good jobs or continue to a higher level of education. Who knows someday I might get those korean movie star look a like... hehehe.
Since this is the end of the month.. I promise that next month things gonna change, gonna skip korean and anime, go school every week day.. Not gonna live by the clock but get up at a decent hour.. Will this things happen? I really don't know. Maybe I shouldn't make promises that I cant keep.

Another PW
Been a while since our last PW. Mer was still here, it was for her farewell.
Next PW: Tomorrow (24th feb 2005), 7PM, ITC DISH Hotel. This will be the last PW for Tommy.. a tribute for him. For our best friend Tommy, who plays - beautiful guitar, amazing bass, and fantasic drum - with us for 1,5 years. Practice today was good, I hope we will play even better tomorrow.
Next PW: Tomorrow (24th feb 2005), 7PM, ITC DISH Hotel. This will be the last PW for Tommy.. a tribute for him. For our best friend Tommy, who plays - beautiful guitar, amazing bass, and fantasic drum - with us for 1,5 years. Practice today was good, I hope we will play even better tomorrow.

Pengen Pecel Lele
Gak tahu dateng dari mana, tiba2 pengen aja makan pecel lele.. Mungkin kebiasaan waktu kos. Dulu kan tinggal bilang: Mbok, pecel lele 1 porsi, sambele seng akeh + lalapan yo, karo es milo. Biasa kutilang nomer 9, kamar sebelah Evan. Dan si mbok pasti bilang: OK njo, 15 menit yo...
Sekarang aku di Enschede pengen makan lele.. Si mbok di jogja.. ah betapa malang nasibku, kenapa di Enschede ndak ada warung LELE???? Mbok I miss you mbok, dateng dong ke Enschede, buka warung pecel lele.. di jamin laris deh.
Trus setelah pengenku makan pecel lele meledak ledak, aku bilang ke Mer, eh kamu pengen makan pecel lele ndak? Dasar memang si Mer yang ndak pernah sopan kalo sama aku... liat aja ulah si mer:
bener2 gak sopan!!! Ya tapi ga papa lah, perhaps its a good thing... Paling ndak kalo next year things work.. aku bakalan enjoy makan pecel lele berdua.. hahahaha.

Next Year, Baby, Next Year
Next year, what will happen next year? This year just started and I'm already talking about next year :p. Something really interesting happened to me lately. Something that really make me excited yet a bit confusing. Internship period is almost done, everything went well.. I got a job offer so at least I feel a little bit certain I will have a job after I graduate. Good job, good money.
Happened Thursday night here, and Thursday noon somewhere else. With some assurance, some consideration that I have, and some insanity that I always have, I said to her: Lets do it next year!!! :D, we still have 1 year so lets think about it.

LOVE
What is LOVE? What kind of word is it? Why people use it a lot? That kind of thought was in my mind lately.. Some people desired to have a TRUE love, some people want a REAL love, some people want a PASSIONATE love. Which one do I want? Which one could I give? Which one does my partner want from me?
What does it takes to LOVE someone? Is it just a feeling that came from nowhere.. (suddenly boom, Cupid fired his arrow).. And I love you? Or is it a feeling that come slowly but sure from knowing each other better, knowing the quality of your partner, the plus and minus side of him/her? Is it LOVE or is it LUST? Do I have passion in my love? Do I want intimacy in my love? Am I ready for a Commitment?
LOVE it self has been an ultimate source of creativity in this world. Most of the paintings, songs, sculptures, scripts, operas, movies, etc, are inspired by love environment. It is inspiring in every situation, when you are totally in love, or even when you are disappointed by love (as some people claim: love hurts).
Some people say LOVE is a complex things.. Which I think it is very wrong. Does love only belongs to educated people? Do you need a bachelor, a master, or even a PhD to understand and feel love? What makes love a complex thing is ourselves, our need behind that love, our understanding over love it self. That's why a people who have PhD will always have more complex love than uneducated person.
For me, I love the passion inside my love, I love the intimacy I could feel with my partner, but for making commitments? I still want to wait and get to know her more than just making a false or fake statement of my commitment. When I commit I want to do it right, perfect for both of us. Word of advice: only fools rush in... And I've been such a fool.

The Color of My Brain
At work or in school: I need to be "hands on": I like to play games, to compete, and to perform. I enjoy flexibility, changes of pace, and variety. I have difficulty with routine and structure. My favorite subjects are music, art, theatre, and crafts. I often excel in sports. I like solving problems in active ways and negotiating for what I want. I can be direct and like immediate results.
With friends: Planning ahead bores me because I never know what I want to do until the moment arrives. I like to excite my friends with new and different things, places to go, and romantic moments.
With family: I need a lot of space and freedom. I want everyone to have fun. It is hard for me to follow rules, and I feel we should all just enjoy one another.

Starting The New Year
According to wikipedia, The New Year is an event that happens when a Culture celebrates the end of one Year and the beginning of the next. 2005 is gone, 2006 is here.
2005 was quite a year.. A lot of things happened. Some meaningful, unforgettable moments painted the great picture of 2005. Yet I still got the blue element coloring my 2005. Yes, I've still got the blues.. less now but still.
2006 is quite a blank year for me, I really don't know what will happen this year. Some great unforgettable moment already happened quite early this year (last week and this week) :), you lifted me up after some depressing moment of loneliness, changing my crappy new year to a happy new year.
February my internship will end. My friend Ajin will come back to the Netherlands. We have so many things to talk.. I bet he got lots of pinay.
In March some sad moments will come, some friends will leave. Including Tommy... It means that we will miss a great ITC Fellowship leader, a great choir member, a great bass/guitar player, a great partner in my VG, and most of all.. I will miss a great friend...
April I'm turning 22.
May, June, July, end the rest I still dont have any idea what will happen.
What I know for sure is God will walk with me, be my best friend, carry me when I'm tired walking through this year.
So... Lets get this party started!!! Hello 2006, I'm coming to rock your world.
